Robins Nest Update:

Robin's Nest is back at the shop after being quilted. The binding is on and now it is ready for an official photo!
In the meantime here it is, a little out of focus but I think you will all get the general idea :-)
The whole quilt has been custom quilted with little clamshells around the feathered medallion centre -
something that I have not tackled for a long time,
over three years in fact, not since we moved into our current shop location. I am very happy with the result.

The fabric shelves were getting a little overcrowded so Sue and I have selected a large group of 'specials',
over 250 bolts, all at the bargain price of $10 per metre... (half metre minimums)
It will be hard parting with some of them!
Here is just a small selection, there are lots more around the shop!

Don't these look gorgeous, pre-cut 30 cm strips, cut from some of the new fabrics on the shelves.
...And watch out, because I know there are a few more ranges on their way during the month of October!!!!
From each of our fabric ranges we cut 'half 30' bundles. Not sure about that measurement?
This is one of our regular bundle cuts; a 'half 30' means -
30cm x half the width of the fabric (30 cm x 55 cm) x 1 of each fabric in the range.
You can order these bundles at anytime while stocks last. (price on application)

Until next time,
