Infinite Horizons 2012

Paul and I have just arrived home from our annual trip to the Brisbane Craft & Quilt Fair, and while we were there we saw an amazing display of 'Red & White' quilts inspired by the exhibition, 'Infinite Variety', held in New York City by Johanna Rose early last year. These very talented ladies are largely from Mount Isa, Queensland, Australia and their collection of 63 quilts has travelled all over North West Queensland raising funds for local communities. The quilts will have travelled a distance of approximately 60,000 kilometres by the time they reach home!
I thought you might like a to see a small selection of what was on show...

I am sure you would agree with me that this was a spectacular collection of quilts! Congratulations to each and everyone who was involved with this project.

Until next time when I will have some more fabulous quilt photos from the Queensland Quilters quilt show,

..... what other colour is there!

  2. Red is the most uplifting of all colours and I don't think I shall ever tire of seeing red and white quilts. They are all beauties.
