(on show from now until the 31st August) Oh I wish I lived a little closer to the UK and could make a trip to see this beautiful quilt up close! To get there from here it would take about 20-24 hours by air, then a bit longer to complete the trip by road! Unfortunately this is time I don't have free just at the moment.... but if you live a little closer than me and have time to visit the original quilt, please send me a quick note and tell me how she looks! I will be very envious...

ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to have a quick visit to the Museum approx. 8 weeks ago, and I viewed the Town and Country exhibition. But as they rotate their quilts on display I missed seeing the Billings Coverlet.
